Cartoon Gallery Osijek opened 47th exhibition on Monday, May 30th.
It represented the work of French cartoonist Bernard Bouton, and

Ha had 6 independent cartoon exhibitions until now. His last cartoon
exhibition was in 2000 in Mouscron, Belgium. For many years he
had two jobs: as a teacher of physics and as cartoon drawer. But
in 2004 he decided to quit the teacher job (too serious for him)
and to dedicate himself completely to the drawing job.
He worked for some financial newspapers («Enterprise Rhone-Alps»
from Lyon), a medical magazine («Tonus» from Paris),
as well as a couple of domestic daily newspapers, such as «Le
Progres» from Lyon, in which he created the character of
Archimeda the Aquanaut, as a daily strip.
He has used many aliases; successfully: delben, Stadtwort, berny,
Alfax, hypercroix, McFerson, until he discovered that the best
one is the simpliest one, so he uses only his inicials now: BB.
He is a member of EIRIS (Equipe Interdisciplinaire de Recherche
sur L Image Satirique ).
